Hurricane repair and renovation of UVI’s School of Business included structural rebuild of the timber framed roof and the installation of an entirely new standing seam roofing system. Other exterior improvements include replacement of the destroyed west facing façade and new impact rated windows throughout. Spalling was discovered during construction which facilitated extensive SIKA repairs to 80% of the foundation. The 9,700 SF interior, including lecture halls, classrooms, and offices was renovated.
