Construction Logistics Coordinator

One of the territories top general contractors is looking for an experienced Construction Logistics Coordinator. The Construction Logistics Coordinator will manage the planning, sourcing, purchasing, storing and controlling of materials, tools and heavy equipment for all jobs. We are looking for someone with excellent business acumen and the ability to minimize production costs through efficient procurement of materials. This individual will be responsible for the flow of materials to, though, and out on the job sites in a timely manner.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Order requested supplies in a timely manner.
• Work with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Seeking competitive pricing.
• Researching market trends and projecting construction-related price increases/decreases.

Required qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction or procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
